The Royal Trap

Madeleine Valois is a prince's companion. Her job is to guide and advise him, to make him look good so that he can land a royal bride. It is her responsibility to keep him out of trouble - not to let him walk blindly into a political minefield, not to let him get arrested for a crime he didn't commit, and definitely not to let him fall in love with her.

Unfortunately, events are not going according to plan...

Our newest release, featuring a proactive protagonist, a lot of scheming and backstabbing, PLOT TWISTS, swords, guns, and possibly some romance along the way.

Free demo available at the game webpage here:
http://www.hanakogames.com/royaltrap.shtml

The demo covers the prologue and chapter 1. A full runthrough is 7 chapters long. Chapters 1-4 are common, chapters 5-7 are different for each route.

Days of the Divine

Days of the Divine Review

This game is one of the games released for NaNoRenO 2013. A pretty good game, great art, great design and suitable music. However its rather sad that there isn't any CGs in the game which is a pity because the art is really good. Just look at the tiger in the picture above. Marvelous drawing.

However, I think that the words are too small and it takes too much effort to read the text. Maybe there is a way to change it or something, but I haven't really played around with the game to find it. I think that the stories' pretty ok, its not one that would grasp you into it. This is mainly due to the lack of CGs I believe. There isn't really any intimidate or sweet scene with Seirei and Liufan till the end. Not so much for Liufan though. Whereas I think Maru's super cute that it actually is fun to play in he's route since he's bubbly and all~

For me, I played Maru's route > Seirei's route > Liufan's route. The ranking for my favourite would be the same as the sequence of the route that i played. With Maru's cuteness being first, Seirei's coolness being second and Liufan's "not-so-fun" route the last.

Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure Review

Rhapsody : A Musical Adventure

Yes yes yes. I know this isn't a otome game. But its rather obvious this game is meant for girls. Instead of the prince saving the princess, we get to save the prince instead. It has a cute art form, since it mainly target girls, AND the gameplay is fairly easy. In a sense, you can one hit K.O the monster. But the version I played was the PSX version. The original one. However, there is a remake, which is available on ds. Its a fairly old game. But a enjoyable one, and the graphic isn't bad for a PSX game.

PSX VS DS version:

I haven't tried the DS version yet, but the storyline is the same, so its rather pointless. I have to say HOORAY to removing the english voices. I'm not saying its horrible, but I'm used to listening to japanese voice acting. So.........the english version sounds really awkward to me XD That's just to me personally, not everyone have the same preference.

Everything else aside, I feel that the storyline is pretty good, especially the relationship between Cornet, the mc, and Kukuru, a fairy puppet. There is a twist but a fairly obvious one. However, there's flaws to the game, not talking about the easy battles. I think that without referring to the guide, its gonna take really long to find your way to the main storyline. There's not obvious clue or hints to tell you where you have to go or what you need to do.

I think that if you are craving for some cute rpg to play, you can play this~~

The Doll's Stories

The Doll's Stories

This game really surprise me. It gave me a unique gameplay and the story is touching T ^ T.
Unfortunately, the female doll's route is incomplete. But the male doll's route is just so good~~
The artwork is really good, it is comparable to pay to play otome games. The game is unique in which, instead of choosing, you have to type instead. The concept reminds me of Fate/Stay Night. Having dolls as your partner in fighting and all. And what can I say, the male doll is just so handsome <3 The story is very well done, it is very well thought. Its a pity that the game play is pretty short. But the whole game is very enjoyable, extremely worth the time.

The doll concept of the game is extra ordinary. Making it different from many other otome games. The background is drawn really well which makes it really noticeable throughout the gameplay. It can be seen that lots of effort has been put into the game. Definitely worth the try!! You can imagine yourself as a girl or a guy. But as otome lover, I'm definitely imaging myself as a girl in the male doll's route ;)

Line Of Heroes

Line Of Heroes

Personally, I think that the game is too lengthy, especially for the lack of choices.
There's only 2 selective answers for each guy that you can "chase after"
However, although you can select 3 guys, there's actually ending for
4 guys which includes Shakil, Lucios, Shamir and Melek.

I like how they actually show the endings to the other guys at the end.
How I think the romance end with Shamir lead the heroine killing Lucios was........
I think the drawing is good, the facial expression and etc are similar to people of the race.(not being racist here) I think the CGs are well done. Despite the awkward angle in drawing the kissing scenes. I kinda hope the heroine would have long hair which would make her prettier~

Note: Choosing to use Broken Heart Seal will lead to the ending with your two besties
Choosing to spare Shamir will lead to the ending with Shamir
And choosing "Ask XXXX for help" would give you the ending with XXXX
This meant for just by playing one round of the game, you can get 3 endings.

Other Age Review

Other Age

“You are Princess of Zeiva Kingdom. In order to celebrate your 16th birthday, Green Mage Nitarou gave you a special machine that allows you to summon your dream guy. Enter the world of Other Age, where Genetic Glow and Imaginary Realm characters collide. Altogether there are 10 characters to choose from, complete with various mini-games, events and endings."

Play the game here:

This game is rather difficult to play, since there is a high chance of being rejected for the date.
I tried playing it, and had a hard time trying to figure out where to go and what to do.
If time permits, I would try to complete the game and give you guys a review
