DeleteI have to say it's a tie between Kaius and Ryuu's path! I mean they both have such romantic endings! I could play their paths everyday. Endings are so cute!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I did Kaius before Ryuu and found myself feeling pretty freaking annoyed when Ryuu started picking fights... Kaius did end up being my favorite. Guess I'm a sucker for the injured, lost little puppy.

Really? Caius was the first path I played and I hated the end. What I liked about Kaius was that he was rude on the outside, but a kind and loving person on the inside. In Frozen Essence, I expected Caius to be the same, but he ended up changing the main character into something terrible. It there was no resolve.
DeleteThat was the dark ending. In the good one, Caius ends up changing his ways for you, and even cries when he thought you were dead. XD In Frozen Essence, for each character, there are at least two endings. Dark/alternative, and light endings. I think the only exception was Rune's path, and he had three endings.
DeleteHow did you all end on Kaius's path first - I ended up on Ryuu's unintentionally he was the last person I wanted to try but Marin's and Ryuu's story is so romantic! I was crying at the end why did Marin's power have to go :(

After playing Kaius's path, it makes me want to cry replaying the game with other charecters. KAIUS IS MINE >:) <3 <3 I don't give a fluck about what Marin has to say.
ReplyDeleteI played Kaius's path last, as I had to use this to help me get there. His was the only path that made me cry AND laugh uncontrollably. I'm completely infatuated with him at the moment.

More importantly, this game has SO MANY morals involved. I love them. And I'm seriously jealous of Marin. I want a love like hers D:

ReplyDeleteI just finished the entire game with all the endings, and I cannot decide between Kaius and Ryuu. They're both so sweet, though I must admit Ryuu's path was more emotional. I cried SO hard during the endgame, it's not even funny. The game was amazing though, and I loved all the characters which does NOT happen often. Bravo! More (P)lanets-games, please!

OH MAN. Just finished playing Kaius' path. And I still have glossy eyes. Crying and laughter. It was so intense, cute and adorable. I couldn't hold back. It was my first path in the game and I'm glad I chose it.

I balled when I knew she couldn't read minds anymore because Kaius said, "I love you," when she read his mind and I was just done there.
So far with this path, I give the game a an awesome rating of five stars. I mean, I'm picky with the art but the story was beautiful. Not a professional game, but gave the professional feels.
Now I just gotta play Ryuu's and Lucan's story tomorrow or some day.

ReplyDeletePro Tip(s): Do Ryuu's end before Kaius's! If you do Kaius's first, then you'll just be too pissed off with Ryuu to really like him.
ReplyDeleteThere are five endings, so make sure to save at the final choice so you can check and see which has the bad end. (Hint: It ain't Haruhi)
SAVE once you reach the final choice or reach the perfect end. Trust me, you'll want to rewatch it.
There is a perfect bonus scene, which you can get if you follow ALL the choices listed on the walkthrough. It's really cute so I recommend you seeing it.
