Star Project Yoon Review

Star Project Yoon is the mobile version of Star Project.

As far as I have seen, there was not much advertising for the game itself.

However, seeing how to game is, I see the reason for the low review.

The game itself is a game of advertisement traps.

Every few seconds, a ad will pop up.

However, the good thing is that you can "X" away from it.

But its still nonetheless irritating.

 

 So, after naming my character "Elycia".

What is "Elycia of your agency"?

Don't I own the agency? O.O???

 

Lets give them the benefit of doubt that "Stage Elycia" meant

the manager's plan to.....make Touya famous.

 

So..."stage Elycia of Yoon" is Yoon of Stage Elycia :D

 

This is how events work out now.

No more world map too.

 

This is how dates, lessons and work looks like now.

 

There are no longer any mini games.

This is merely "waiting" screen for Touya to complete the job.

Of course, and to lure you to watch advertisements while you wait.

 

By the way, I named my company "Galaxy"

Not "GalaxyElycia"

 

After you have done a single date or work or lesson,

there will be a waiting time of 10 -30 mins depending on which you select.

If you click on it again, the above screen pops up. 

Asking you to, once again, watch advertisements 

to play the next date or work or lesson immediately.

As you can see, you have a fairly large amount of energy.

It seems that Touya would be the only star in this game.

FINAL REVIEW

This is a big big big disgrace to the web version.

I think its fine that the old CGs are used.

However, the CGs are cropped to fit my phone which was disappointing.

The game is pacing is really weird,

 the CGs are flashed at the start of the game which was unnecessary.

Weird english most of the times, incomplete translation.

However, it should be stated that they reused the text from the web version for the events.

Therefore, its not a lump of poor english.

I do hope that they would brush the game up if they care about it,

and stop with the bunch of random ads.

For those who don't get to play the game, you aren't missing out.

Sleepless Cinderella PARTY

As much as I was turned off with the "seems like Gossip Girl" vibe.

I was wrong. In this game, you play as a budding reporter

 who won a 1st prize of staying in the luxurious room of the hotel. 

And in the room, all those guys are waiting for you......for some reason.

But things gets more interesting as it goes.

Currently I'm playing Yuzuki's route. Things are going smoother than I expected.

Definitely a recommended game.

Story Of Seasons Review

 

Story of Seasons, one of the game in the Harvest Moon series, typical original Harvest Moon game with a twist.  By typical, I meant the dreading hours you spent on the game half asleep, doing repetitive actions : Water, Fertilize, Harvest, Brush, Milk, Clip, Feed, Give gifts.

Yes, you still have to do these as much as you wish it would be much easier.

I would say, money is easier to get now with the 3 x 3 squares rather than the 1 square at a time harvesting. Therefore, your profit would be 9 times your 1 square typical Harvest Moon plot.

 However, of course, the difficulty would be much harder. 

Even the game mocks you with a 30 years in game trophy to unlock.

The storyline of Story of Seasons is basically........unlocking all the vendors.

Want to know how to unlock them?

Ship 1 million G worth of shippings which is no longer through shipping box but through the vendors and.......voila~ 5 vendors for you to ship to~

However, this is where the game really starts.

Unlocking the other two, while not too hard, is tedious

100 tools, 500 seeds, 15,000 farm products, 15,000 cooked recipes, 10,000 processed goods, 600 clothes,100 fences, 200 decorations, 200 garden objects, 100 streets, 100 furniture, and 100 wallpaper/flooring

The game expects you to earn lots of money and this can be seen through:

-The cost of getting a bigger bag

-Obviously, unlocking the vendors

- 1 000 000 G donation option for Fireworks festival

- Crazy amount of lumber needed (Seed x Time = Money?!?!)

Through all these hardships, you have all these adorable NPCs along with you 

and also fellows farmers who just have to see how you snatch their rental plots away from them

 Of course, other than your plants and npcs, lets not forget 

about our farm animals (& the safari animals)

who love you more than those npcs like this monster looking chick

So my chicks started having names like, Yeti, Slendy & Nessie.

Now, lets talk about customisation. Having build a Sewing Studio,

you can start making accessories, clothes and OP money making golden flax cloth 

No matter what gender you choose, you can look like the other gender.

Meaning, you can wear male clothing as a girl and female clothing like as a guy

So now, you can fulfill your BxB or GxG fantasies in Harvest Moon

while still being able to have children.

And the above is my review for Story of Seasons.

 

And yes, lets not forget the hypnotizing music and the clingy horse.

A really enjoyable game. The CGs are just too good, 

excellent drawings and music. The whole game is just too perfect. 

The bgm fits the game and the situation. Even though there's only two available bachelors, 

they are both lovable. If there's a flaw in this game,

 its probably Kenta's basketball shorts.........

Game Quickkkk Summary: 

One day, Tear (the grey haired fairy) just pop up at Recette's house, demand her to pay back the loan that her dad owed.

Recette has no money, so she have to work to pay back. So her house became a item store.

Ok, so finally I had the chance to try out the game.

 The game environment is adorable. Sprites are really cute. 

I love the fact that they let you "run" the shop. Its really cool.

But its rather weird that there's no fixed price for the items.

 HOWEVERRRRRRRR, cutish and all, the game is seriously, hard and irritating to play.
Let me tell you why.
NUMBER ONE:
When you die in dungeon, you are only allow to bring ONE and only ONE item out.
Meaning, out of the 20 items you have there, you got to pick ONE.
Which irritates me a lot since usually I would restart and do the dungeon again and again

NUMBER TWO:
If you didn't manage to pay for any one of the loan, its a automatic GAME OVER.
You will have to start all over from Day 1 again. Apparently, Recette will wake up and find that its a dream.
However, fortunately, everything will stay the same as when you GAME OVER.
Except, your money, day and any preorders.

Well, actually its just this 2 main points. I did some research and found out that the totally amount you will pay, adding everything together would be over 800k. Which....lets see...... I have to sell like 800 armors?

Battles:

See those jewels? Those are the experience. 

However, there's lots of different coloured jewels and I have no idea how much each give.

This is your typical start of the map, though the location varies as the map's inconsistent.
Kinda like.......how the map changes in the Persona series games?
So~the bottom left is the HP,MP and experience bar of the adventurer you are controlling.
The experience bar is the circle around the adventurer's face.

Ok, for every 5 level of the dungeon, you will get a mini boss fight.

The boss aren't tough, they just require some technique.

So after defeating the boss, the red door and portal would appear.
The red door would lead you back home.
While the portal would lead you to the next level.

HAGGLING & EARNING:

Tip 1:I won't say I'm a pro at haggling in the game. 
But here are some tips or things that I follow during haggling.
For everyone, I set my price between 110% to 120%.
Do note that there are some customers that refuse to pay within that amount due of "insufficient" fund. But I believe it have something to do with "customer loyalty"

Tip 2:
Make use of the increase in prices. When there is a increase in price, display all your items.
Items with a increase in price are in red. Items with a decrease in price are in blue

After paying all the debts:

You will pay your final debt of 500 000 pix at Day 36.
Therefore, there is no rush in meeting more npcs. 
Just concentrate on paying all the debts.
You will unlock the following modes upon paying the last debt of 500 000 pix:

Endless mode : Saving game after paying the 500 000 pix
New game + : Bring over your items, merchant lvl and etc. However, your pix will drop to 1 000 pix instead.
Survival mode: Where you have to keep paying debts till you can't pay anymore

Rhapsody : A Musical Adventure

Yes yes yes. I know this isn't a otome game. But its rather obvious this game is meant for girls. Instead of the prince saving the princess, we get to save the prince instead. It has a cute art form, since it mainly target girls, AND the gameplay is fairly easy. In a sense, you can one hit K.O the monster. But the version I played was the PSX version. The original one. However, there is a remake, which is available on ds. Its a fairly old game. But a enjoyable one, and the graphic isn't bad for a PSX game.

I haven't tried the DS version yet, but the storyline is the same, so its rather pointless. I have to say HOORAY to removing the english voices. I'm not saying its horrible, but I'm used to listening to japanese voice acting. So.........the english version sounds really awkward to me XD That's just to me personally, not everyone have the same preference. 

Everything else aside, I feel that the storyline is pretty good, especially the relationship between Cornet, the mc, and Kukuru, a fairy puppet. There is a twist but a fairly obvious one. However, there's flaws to the game, not talking about the easy battles. I think that without referring to the guide, its gonna take really long to find your way to the main storyline. There's not obvious clue or hints to tell you where you have to go or what you need to do. 

I think that if you are craving for some cute rpg to play, you can play this~~

Li'l Red

This visual novel is based loosely on the childhood story, Little Red Riding Hood. It's a really interesting perspective of the story, where no grandma is involved in the story, but a "evil" mother. It kind of reminds me of Hansel & Gretel. I love twisted childhood stories. So this definitely attracted me. I love the twist to it. And it actually teaches another moral which I think is better than the original story. But I don't really know if there's a moral to that original story......hmmm

So, anyway, download the game, try it. Worth the time, the graphic's really decent, and its like reading a story throughout. Keep in mind, no matter what option you choose, the story will still flow the same way.

A interesting game, kinda a mindblown game. It's really confusing. But the game is worth playing because of the unique game play. In this game, you will have to get all the endings and finally get the last real ending. It doesn't take long to play and doesn't require any download. Despite the graphic being simple, the game is very well thought through, there isn't any plot hole that I can think of. But the game made me kill so many people....T ^ T

The Doll's Stories

This game really surprise me. It gave me a unique gameplay and the story is touching T ^ T.

Unfortunately, the female doll's route is incomplete. But the male doll's route is just so good~~

The artwork is really good, it is comparable to pay to play otome games. The game is unique in which, instead of choosing, you have to type instead. The concept reminds me of Fate/Stay Night. Having dolls as your partner in fighting and all. And what can I say, the male doll is just so handsome <3 The story is very well done, it is very well thought. Its a pity that the game play is pretty short. But the whole game is very enjoyable, extremely worth the time.

The doll concept of the game is extra ordinary. Making it different from many other otome games. The background is drawn really well which makes it really noticeable throughout the gameplay. It can be seen that lots of effort has been put into the game. Definitely worth the try!! You can imagine yourself as a girl or a guy. But as otome lover, I'm definitely imaging myself as a girl in the male doll's route ;)

I pretty impressed with the story, I didn't manage to predict the story XD

Initially, I thought that the girl with black hair was the 3rd party in the heroine's relationship, but its not the case~ And yes, like the title of the game, you gonna be dumped by the guy in the game.

I think this game is decent~ its worth the try~ Apparently, you get dumped by the "perfect guy" in the game. I think that the ending is satisfying, its worth the time~

The true end starts with the rest of the ends being a dream. And I hated Arashi before the true end, he was such a (*@)#$# in the other ends XD I kinda wish that the heroine was more brave and all.

 But I kinda think the heroine is a stalker because, if she appeared to be a stalker in one of the endings.......and its a dream.....so in order to dream about it......SHE HAVE TO BE A STALKER!! Which means.........we are all stalkers (¬_¬)  cause we played as the heroine.

Finally, after a long period of time, another otome game is finally released!!

I completed the game twice and got the same ending. "OTL

Just how tough is this game @.@

I have to say the fact that I couldn't get a good ending kinda piss me off....

But I have to say the drawing is good, so is the CGs,

However, the CGs and the characters are drawn really differently.

I will be doing the walkthrough soon~

I have to say I interested in Devlin, I think guys with bad boy look in games attract my attention,

although I hate the fact that he smokes~ @.@ but I think his story would be interesting~

EDIT: Ok, I finished all their route. And I have to say Seth is the anime otaku. 

Devlin is the typical bad boy character in VNs, the ending was really dokidoki.

Alden is the pretty, smart & rich boy~

Personally, after playing all the route, I love Devlin & Seth route. They are the sweet kind of romance.

And Alden's route was......rather boring, especially since Alden is the heroine's crush.....which makes it even less interesting.

However, I think the game is really worth the try. The story is good and longer than usual VNs.

With 3 guys, its more than enough. I love how the conversations were really mundane, no awkwardness in it.

Worth the time to play.

A really short game. The story and the drawings are really cute.

Isn't much of a otome game. But its worth the try. If you are feeling bored and wanna freshen up ur day,

try this game!!!! The game takes about 5 minutes. I love how the female mc have a tough look but have a heart of a little girl and the vampire keeps reading her mind. Initially, I thought that she was at the castle to kill "handsome man"

I played this game long ago. And I kept reminding myself to do the review for this game but fail to do so. So here it is!!! I do still have memories of this game. And I find it enjoyable. The storyline is rather cool, I love the concept of virtual online game in otome games. Since its actually rather hard to fit in a game in a game.

But I find it rather amusing for all the main characters to play the same game. And you should know how big the "online" world is.......so that the contradicting part. But the fact that you need some status to get the guy you want is actually similar to otome games that are more interactive. I'm rather neutral toward all three of them. But I must say the game is good. Good drawing and CGs. Worth playing and trying.

I have to say, honestly, this game was a deep disappointment for me.

I know that the story is lengthy, but I didn't expect it to bore me so much.

About 85% of the whole game is about them attacking, being attacked and stuffs.

And this was a big turn off for me that I only managed to finish Saito path.

It was a good thing I went for him first, since he was my favourite 

when I watched the first season of the anime.

During my second playthrough, I wondered why can't I get Shinpachi Nagakura.....

He was the second guy I wanted most in the game.....but sadly, he doesn't have a path....

But I do have to say, Saito's route was really good and sweet. I love how at the end,

all of them changed into western clothes......that's another beautiful sight in the game.

I don't particularly like this knd of otome games, all you do is read read AND read......

Such a disappointment for me. But, if you are a Hakuouki fan, you will like this, I guess?

Interesting fact: These characters exist in real historical time. And its kinda cool to read up on them!!!

Rune Factory 3

Rune Factory 3:

This is the best rune factory out of the 3 rune factory that are on ds.

Its better since the battling style is much much muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh more better than RF 1 & 2

And I really enjoyed playing all the mini games. 

What I love most is the house of RF3!!!! Its the best out of the series and also compared to HM.

A treehouse, and a largeeeeeee farm for you. Isn't it great?

And most importantly, the storyline is really good, its really pack, and until the end, you are still in the storyline even though it seems like you are finishing the game. Even though you are not playing as a female main character, this game is really the best.  And the fact that you can stack your crops is such a woohoo!!

Good news is that for RF4, you can choose to be a male char or a female char. <3

I think that harvest moon series always have the same problem. 

Which is, there isn't much of a goal after you get marriage. 

And you have to wait for a long period of time for your child to grow. 

Furthermore, in this case, after you have found all the circus animals, 

you can summon them to reach a certain place immediately. 

Which is rather bad , since this make you have more time, 

BUT you have nothing to do.....which in turn lead you to be lazy and not finish the full game.

For me, I finished the main storyline, got married and had a baby.

And, my "husband" is Gill!!!! I thought that the bachelors in this game isn't that good looking.

And I would have gone for Luke if he didn't had that plastic on his nose. Or maybe Owen if his body isn't that "bulky".....But I must say that its still good to play this if you are bored since, you can spend hours of real time just for a few days in game. I hate how when your "husband" help out and took really long to water the crops. And I think its pretty unfair for bachelorettes to really nice looking......."OTL

But I guess this game is pretty worth the try that is if you have nothing to do....

A really good otome game. Really really good game. 

I love how they added the horoscope concept into the game. 

There's Yoh, who represents Capricon. 

 Suzuya who represent Cancer.

 AND Kanata that represent Pisces

Personally, I LOVEEEEEE Suzuya. And the fact that he knows how to cook was a big addition in point. If you have played Suzuya's route, you will know that Suzuya have been keeping his feeling for the heroine inside.

However, he is a gentle devil. There's a inner devil in him LOLZZZ!!

Suzuya is a really motherly figure out of all three of them!!!

I love how Suzuya give the main character a really protected feeling.

Which is why Suzuya is my personal favourite

Kanata & Yoh's path is good in different ways. Yoh is really the sly, quiet type of guy.

And Kanata is a little boy inside of him. (That's what I think)

The CGs are realllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyy good. Really recommended!!
